Cloontagh NS opened its doors for the new school year on August 29th 2018. Everyone was happy to see their friends again and to share their stories.
We are especially happy to welcome our new Junior Infants. Charlie, Evie and John James have settled in and are happily joining in all our school activities. They have made friends and are having fun at Cloontagh School.
We are lucky to have a capable and confident sixth class this year. They will be good leaders in our school community.
Second class are looking forward to making their First Confession and First Holy Communion this year under the guidance of our new priest Father Turlough Baxter. Fr T. has already visited the school and is getting to know all the children.
We welcome Aisling Hoey to our staff this year. Aisling is providing learning support.
