As part of our sixth Green Flag Project, Dale Treadwell from Heritage in Schools visited our school on Friday 17th January and did a workshop will all the classes. The theme of the workshop was pollination.
The junior room pupils got to plant Buddleia, Lavender, Oriental puppies and Murrin, all of which are attractive to butterflies and bees.
The senior room looked at the value of pollinators in the natural world and the importance of preserving and protecting them.
The project should be completed and ready for submission in the spring.
The pupils really enjoyed the visit from Dale.
